Highlights From TechSavvy 2015

On Saturday, May 16, the Bluegrass Central KY Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) hosted TechSavvy at Kentucky State University. This exciting event featured successful women in STEM fields from Toyota USA, Alltech, Lockheed Martin, and more, showcasing the myriad of STEM opportunities to parents and middle school students.

Throughout the day, students explored various workshops where they learned about bugs and water quality, food engineering, computer science, and even got to (quite literally) walk on egg shells! For more information on TechSavvy and the AAUW, visit their website.
