SAWF to Bring All Girls Auto Know™ to Louisville

What All Girls Auto Know

The Southern Automotive Women’s Forum (SAWF) is bringing their popular program, All Girls Auto KnowTM  to Kentucky for the first time this November. Teaming up with KGSC and the Kentucky Science Center, this event will promote the variety of STEM careers in the automotive industry to young girls from Jefferson Co., KY & Clarke Co., IN. This event will give students a glimpse behind the scenes and an opportunity to meet the local women leading the auto industry. The keynote address will be given by University of Louisville alumna, and former Lt. Governor of Indiana, Dr. Sue Ellspermann with additional remarks by Kristina Karschnia, Plant Manager at Ford Motor Company.

The SAWF is a non-profit professional organization that seeks to promote education and advancement of women in the automotive industry. All Girls Auto Know™ is SAWF’s Middle school outreach program, founded in 2011 by SAWF board members Suzanne Dickerson and Cherie McCain in South Carolina. The program has since expanded to Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and now Kentucky.
